Anti-UV Masterbatch is utilized to protect different plastic products from harmful UV radiation, making them much more resilient and durable. Unlike UV absorbers, HALS doesn’t absorb UV rays, instead, inhibits the degradation of polymers through the removal of free radicals formed during polymer oxidization. This process is often cyclic, as the HALS can regenerate and continue being effective, preventing it from getting used up during the process, making it a favorite for long-term degradation resistance.

EUV5400 and EUV5403 Masterbatches, which contain reclaimed rubber, are specifically designed for artificial turfs for long-term applications. Adding these masterbatches will prevent the depletion of mechanical properties and avoid discoloration and degradation during the production process and long-term heat aging, extending the product’s life.
